What Do You Know About Your Exhaust System?

It's no secret that exhaust system functionality is difficult to understand, especially for those just starting out in the automotive industry. It begs the question, "Why to bother?" When there are experts who can help you in these matters.

* Catalytic converter: It is located between an exhaust manifold (or a muffler) and prevents harmful carbon monoxide or hydrocarbons from polluting our environment. 

These gases are transformed into water and vapor, and some converters reduce the number of nitrogen oxides being expelled. This accessory is essential in exhaust systems, especially where required by law.
